The start this afternoon of the final race of the 2016 Redwing National Championships won by R244 "Dragon" Colin Crabb & Adam Hayler from Looe S.C. with R251 " Shag " Keith & Ned Buchanan from Scillonian S.C. a very close second place. ( last photo is the leading group towards the end of the second reach )........ Robin Mawer

R251 " Shag " Keith & Ned Buchanan ( Isles of Scilly ) who finished second in the Championships only one point behind the Leader.

On tonight's " Sapphire " sharking trip five miles south of the Islands.
This eight foot long c150lb. Blue Shark was landed tagged and released. Possibly a record size for the " Sapphire "........Robin Mawer

On tonight's " Sapphire " sharking trip five miles south of the Islands this Spur Dogfish was caught. A member of the Shark family' it has green spots a green eye and is named after the sharp spur on the front of the rear dorsal fin.........Robin Mawer
