A great job done today by the Duchy Harbour Team refloating the yacht which went aground yesterday in Tom's Par after parting its mooring in a bit of a blow !...............Robin Mawer.

This visiting yacht broke off its mooring in fresh winds in St. Mary's Harbour this afternoon and ended up aground in Porth Thomas ( Tom's Par ) at about or just after high tide !!!..............Robin Mawer

The Holland America Line's Cruise ship " Prinsendam " leaving the Roads in the rain at 4.40pm. this afternoon at the same time as Scillonian III . At 39,000 tons with 700 passengers she is the fourth largest Cruise ship for this year in Scilly !......Robin Mawer
